Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 28, 2026

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Coco Team ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our test-preparation applications, CDL Test Prep 2026 and DMV Permit Prep 2026 (each an "App," and together the "Apps"), available on the Apple App Store. This single policy applies to both Apps. By downloading or using either App, you agree to the practices described here.

We designed the Apps to work with minimal personal information. You do not need to create an account or provide your name, email, or phone number to study.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide

The Apps do not require you to register an account. If you contact us for support, we receive the information you choose to send us (such as your email address and the contents of your message).

Information collected automatically

When you use the Apps, certain information is collected automatically by us and by the third-party services we use:

Data stored on your device

Your study progress (spaced-repetition status, test results, and settings) is stored locally on your device and is not, by default, linked to your identity or transmitted to us with personal identifiers.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information above to:

4. Advertising

The free version of each App displays advertising provided by Google AdMob. To serve ads, AdMob may use a device advertising identifier and related data. On iOS, personalized advertising that tracks you across other companies' apps and websites is only used if you grant permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you do not grant permission, you may still see non-personalized ads.

You can purchase our ad-free option or a subscription to remove ads. You can also limit ad tracking in your device settings (Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking / Apple Advertising). Learn more in Google's advertising policy.

5. Analytics

We use Google Firebase Analytics to understand aggregate usage patterns and improve the Apps. Firebase collects usage and device data associated with an anonymous identifier. We do not use analytics to identify you personally. See Firebase's privacy information and Google's Privacy Policy.

6. Purchases & Subscriptions

The Apps offer optional in-app purchases and auto-renewable subscriptions. All payments are processed by Apple through your Apple ID. We never receive or store your credit card number or full payment details. We receive confirmation of your purchase and subscription status so we can unlock the corresponding features. For subscription terms, please see our Terms of Use.

7. Third-Party Services

We rely on the following third-party providers, each governed by its own privacy policy:

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

8. Data Retention

We retain automatically collected and analytics data only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, and in accordance with our providers' retention settings (typically up to 14 months for analytics). Locally stored study data remains on your device until you delete the App or clear its data. Support correspondence is kept as long as needed to assist you.

9. Children's Privacy

The Apps are intended for individuals preparing for a commercial or standard driver's license or learner's permit and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it. For users under the age of majority in their jurisdiction, we recommend non-personalized advertising and limited data collection where required by law.

10. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal information.

California (CCPA/CPRA)

California residents may request to know what personal information we collect, request deletion, and opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell personal information for money. Some advertising activity may be considered "sharing" under California law; you can opt out by declining App Tracking Transparency and by limiting ad personalization in your device settings.

EEA/UK (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, and to data portability. Our legal bases for processing are your consent (for advertising and tracking) and our legitimate interests (to operate and improve the Apps).

To exercise any right, contact us at coco.mobileapps@gmail.com. Because we operate the Apps without user accounts, we may ask you to provide information (such as your device advertising identifier) to help us locate relevant data.

11. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including encryption in transit and access controls on our service providers. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide notice within the Apps. Your continued use of the Apps after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
